Fleet owners, tug boat companies, oil industry operators and commercial fishermen throughout the world have been using WESMAR built Bow Thrusters, Roll Fin Stabilizers and Sonars for more then three decades. The new DPC350 is one of 8 Bow Thruster Systems and 6 Roll Fin Stabilizers built for commercial vessels. The DPC350 by WESMAR is a steel encased system using 40-inch diameter, four blade Kaplan style props and provides power capable of precise movement of commercial vessels whether working offshore in violent seas, commercial fishing, or maneuvering in crowded harbors and narrow channels, Equipped with WESMAR thrusters, work boats in all situations can easily maneuver or hold position to maintain a heading, such as cable and seismic vessels, draggers, seiners, diver utility boats, tugs, supply boats or jack up vessels. WESMAR has taken the challenges of limited space and easy access and designed a larger Bow Thruster system that provides even more power without sacrificing space of access. The new DPC200 and 350 Bow Thrusters are designed for vessels requiring between 200 to 350 horsepower. WESMAR can assist in selecting the proper size bow thruster for your vessel.
